What is Guillain- Barre' syndrome?
An acute inflammatory condition involving the spinal nerve roots, peripheral nerves, and in some cases selected cranial nerves.
When does Guillain Barre' syndrome occur?
It often follows a viral illness, immunization, or surgery and may affect both sexes at any age.
How fast does Guillain-Barre syndrome come and what occurs?
-The onset is rapid.
- Initially no fever presents, but pain and tenderness of muscles, weakness, and decreased deep tendon reflexes occur.
