Going to Japan the common places have everyday men, women, and children in formal or casual wear. For just a moment everyone seems normal, then you see a random person who stands out and wearing something completely weird, but it isn’t weird to them, in fact it’s their style. You have the anime lovers, known as Otakus, dressing up as their favorite characters, this is known as Cosplay. Cosplay has actually happened here in Hawaii as well, but not as frequently as the Japanese, cosplay sometimes takes thousands of dollars to make, and sometimes you make it by yourself, but it’s a style a lot of people are proud of and are happy to make and invest in.
