World War One: A War In Our History

World War 1 is a very prominent war in our history. Many countries fought in this war and many people didn’t finish it. Many different things impacted on the people not fighting in the war and the people fighting in the war. World War 1 had united many countries and families together but also at the same time many of them were separated.

World War 1 was a global war that took place in Europe. The war began on 28th July 1914 and ended on the 11th November 1918. More than 70 million military troops including 60 million Europeans were mobilised in one of the largest wars in history. Over 9 million soldiers and 7 million civilians died. You might be wondering how World War 1 started well it was all because two people were killed.
