I am an aspiring investment banker and international business executive and am intrigued by mergers and acquisitions, investment banking from an international perspective, and the effect of international events on the global economy and the ensuing effect on corporations. I intend to pursue a BS in economics while focusing on the concentrations of finance, global analysis, and operations and information management, in particular the tracks focusing on business analytics and information systems. Penn’s distinctive concentration system would enable me to craft my own curriculum perfectly suiting my academic interests and potential career prospects, with classes ranging from “International Corporate Finance” and “Investment Management,” to “Negotiations” and “Business Computer Languages.” …show more content…
