Why I Want To Be A Radiography

I’ve been fortunate to have discovered a career path that I love–radiography. I aim to make bold strides and go far in this line of work. I apply with enthusiasm for the above position and enclose my resume detailing my skills and clinical experience. I am a Victorian resident who has completed VCE at Glen Waverley Secondary College and am an eligible candidate for a funded position. As part of my application process I have registered with the PMCV matching service.

Growing up, I’ve always been on the move with changing environments which has made me into a person who can flexibly adapt to surroundings and think on my feet. Time is of the essence and it has moulded me to become a person who prides myself on efficiency, is proactive and does not let opportunities go to waste. I welcome challenges and enjoy utilizing an array of skills I have accumulated through my experiences to find solutions.
There is nothing better than the genuine feeling I get from helping those in need and seeing a smile on their face. I have developed a great deal of my communication, patience and caring nature through interacting with my Down syndrome sister which will assist me

It would be a brilliant opportunity to be part of this network that provides services to such a large catchment area that continues to grow and with it more opportunities. A feature that particular entices me is that your radiographers can be rostered to different areas of radiology on a date to date basis. I love the variety of working in different micro-environments as it keeps things interesting, there is never a dull moment. It allows the radiographer to keep in regular practice across a range of modalities and those who go on to specialize in MRI and US also have that opportunity.
