A pro and con of imperialism for Europeans were controlling land from many areas throughout the world but having to teach native things was a con because it slowed things down. A pro for Natives was that they learned new things from Europeans but a con was that they lost all their land and were controlled by Europeans.
Economically imperialism changed the world by opening up new resources to European powers such as loans for railways and irrigation to make it easier for trade. A good effect that the British had on India was the jump in agriculture, through large scale irrigation works. Raising the value price of products such as indigo, tea, coffee, silk, and more also an increase of exports.
