Wearing School Uniforms

This letter addresses the issue of how learning environment can be improved in Norfolk High School. There are some factors that make education distracting and one factor is different clothing among students. Wearing school uniforms help to address the issue of learning among students. The reason is that school uniforms promote professionalism that helps to ensure learning in a safe environment, students are encouraged to express themselves in creative ways, and more time is put into actual learning compared to when students are allowed to wear mofty.
Unprofessionalism among students have a negative impact on student safety, and academic achievement. Uniforms project presentable and professional appearance that promotes safety by helping to identify intruders. When students feel safe in their learning environment they will be more likely to focus on educational achievement. Also, keeping the uniform neat and clean shows a student sense of pride and belonging to the school, as well as professional attitude towards school work. It can therefore be said that professionalism is logical.

Eliminating different clothing among students and adopting uniforms will force students to pay more attention on academic achievement. Wearing school uniforms addresses the issue of learning because it promotes professionalism. Professionalism will enhance safety and provide comfortable learning environment. Students will no longer focus on looks rather they will be encouraged to come up with creative ways to stand out.
