Who? Betty the crow is a New Caledonian crow who was caught making a hook out of a straight piece of wire. So, CHristian Rutz took her and many other crows like her into an observation lab to study her.
What? Betty is a crow that is being observed. Many scientists are observing her actions.
Where? Betty the crow and other New Caledonian crows are being observed at the University of St. Andrews in the United KIngdom. Christian Rutz and colleagues spent 4 years studying the crows.
When? The crows were being studied 14 years ago. The scientists were studing for 4 years on these birds.
Why? The scientists studied the New Caledonian crows because they asked themselves one single question. Are these birds like us, in the way of tools?

They mostly found out that these New Caledonian crows made tools to help them hunt for food. I think that this article is helpful because of the series of events is put in order. It is clear to read and it is very interesting. This doesn really affect society because birds are birds and we can't really use them except for food and feathers. My reaction to this article was amazement because I didn really know that birds could make tools. This reading made me feel amazed because I thought monkeys and humans were the only ones who made their own tools. I think that the author should've added more quotes from the other
