People who are vegans lack all the nutrients they need to get in a full diet. According to Kris Gunnars, “They(meats) are loaded with high quality protein,healthy fats, vitamins, minerals and various lesser known nutrients that have important effects on health.” These nutrients are not common in fruits and vegetables and are mainly found in meat.
