The Black Napoleon
Toussaint L'Ouverture was born in 1742, Haiti. He is also a slave but he was educated. He is the leader in Haiti revolution, and he led Haiti people win the colonial power. This revolution is successful; the slaves was liberated, and Haiti became an independent country without slavery. (McNally)
Toussaint L'Ouverture got the freedom before the revolution start, but he finally decided to join the revolution because he was invited by other revolutionaries. British and Spaniard had some colonies on Haiti, and black slaves had not power in their colonies; so the main purpose of the revolution is deporting these colonialists, and getting freedom. Then Tooussaint united with France to ageist Spaniard and British,
