“Climate Change is a terrible problem, and it absolutely needs to be solved. It deserves to be our main priority”
Climate change limits the opportunities that future generations have, especially the poorest and most vulnerable. It is our duty to change how people treat/use the earth, educate, and get involved in our communities that can have a huge impact on improving the lives of the vulnerable populations affected by climate change.

If we just wake up each day thinking life is perfect, and everyone is okay then we are not deeply understanding that people need help. Also, if we go around knowing that people are suffering and not doing anything about it then it is also not okay. As adults we should have already known how to take care of the planet and others, but sadly we have not. In the article “No, the poor will not always be with us” by Paul Gilding it says “We have to back to kindergarten . We have to learn to share with our friends. Unlike in kindergarten, however, no we know that having more toys doesn’t make us happy, so we can rest easy that sharing won’t decrease our happiness.” pg 104 If we had learned how to treat the world, and would have been more educated than we would understand how to use the resources we have and not be so materialistic. It is a disgrace when we go grocery shopping we buy so much food that is just going to get tossed in the trash a couple days later. In the article “How to be more than a mindful consumer” by Annie Leonard says “Today we’re so steeped in consumer culture that we head to the mall even when our houses and garages are full. We suffer angst over the adequacy of our belongings and amass crushing credit card debt to, as the author Dave Ramsey says, buy things we don't need with money we don’t have, to impress people we don’t like.” pg 122 Having to use the resources that we have at home, and not buying more than we need can help others and teach us not to be so materialistic. Instead of us wearing the clothes, the clothes are wearing
