The word “Trinity” is not found in the Bible, just like the word “Bible” cannot be found in it either. Nevertheless it sums up what the Bible teaches concerning Trinity. That is to say, abstractly not found but concretely proven. (1 Jn. 5:7~8)
II. Importance of the study of the Trinity
The doctrine of the study of the Trinity is the most basic and fundamental doctrine of Christianity. It deals with following aspects:

B. Fundamental
C. Biblical
D. Theological
E. Practical
A. Basic, because Trinity is a subject for all interested parties, not only for advanced student but for every believer, young and old.

If suffices if it is contained there as to the thing (and equivalently) and may be thence deduced by “Trinity” does not occur in the scripture in the abstract, it suffices that the thing itself is found there in there in the concrete and as to sense.
C. Biblical, because the doctrine and teaching is found in the Bible. Our belief and evangelism is essentially rooted in Trinity. Without the Trinity, our preaching is incomplete (Mat. 28:19).
D. Theological, because “Theology”, “that does not encounter with the Living God, and encounter with Him as Father, son, and Holy Spirit, in the unity that belongs to them, in the peculiarity of Relationship with each person sustains to us, it is not Christian Theology.” (Espinoza, 34.)
E. Practical, because the Trinity is the “very heart of the Church Life.” it also contributes to the gratitude amd worship of God who has revealed Himself to us. it also contribute to the consolation so that we may know that Christ has truly redeemed us. (Turretin 1992:263)
