All three groups are identified as leaning Republican. While on the opposing side, all of the leaning Democrat groups such as the Solid Liberals, Faith and Family Left, Next Generation Left, and Hard-Pressed Skeptics felt as though, “government aid to the poor does more good than harm, because people cant get out of poverty until their basic needs are meet”. The suggested platform above would stir up different demographics of voters in away that shifts everyone more into the middle of the political spectrum. Everyone would be able to see the benefits of regulation, tax cutes, and programs helping poor parents. As the aid shifted from direct handouts to the poor, into the hands of businesses and programs like Head Start, tightening regulation, and setting time restrictions Young Outsiders, Business Conservatives, and Steadfast Conservatives will be very satisfied locking in their vote for the policy. Hard-Pressed skeptics have the lowest family incomes of any of the groups meaning they would be the most likely to utilize the programs suggested in this policy change, and once they recognize the success of programs like Head start they will see their communities get better, and have more free time to go to work. Faith and Family Left is a very close second for lowest income families, and with a focus on family in their lives seeing their children get a literal head start in their education they will begin to trust the new system, and with more time to work they will no longer question the switch away from direct financial assistance. The new Republican reform has a major focus on aiding those ages 30-64, the impoverished, as well as middle class business owners via tax cuts. Overtime the Conservatives and the Young Outsiders will continue to be pleased especially
