Organizations such as the ACE Mentor Program of America, Jackie Robinson Foundation, and United Negro College Fund (UNCF) all try and motivate young adults to become educated also develop certain working skills for the real world. The ACE Mentor Program of America helps mentor high school students and inspires them to pursue careers in design and construction. This program reaches over 8,000 students per year. The Jackie Robinson Foundation is a non profit organization which provides scholarships and also internships to minority youths for higher education then eventually career experience. United Negro College Fund (UNCF) is an American philanthropic organization that funds scholarships for black students and also gives them the career skills they need to become well-educated citizens of the U.S.. With what seem to be few jobs there are out there it is important to have a college degree because if you don’t they could easily pass it onto another more educated person. Going back to school is always an option, that may take time but will leave you better off than before. Employers look for education, work experience, and people skills. Even if you have previous work experience they still might not decide to hire you if you don’t have some sort of education. Some people don’t believe that college is right for them or that they can’t afford it but there are outstanding organizations out there that can give you the right skills/financial boosts that you need to better
