Coke has a number of operational objectives. First they want to guarantee the toughest and most proficient, distribution, production and marketing systems. The benefits of this are that their product will be more noticeable and available for consumers, therefore increasing overall profit. Furth more coke wants to further expansion in profit by cutting down prices through dynamic and efficient production facilities. Also coke wants to Focus on environment when it comes to the production of their products so they have created environmental friendly bottling production and sustainability. Coke collects the raw materials needed for the production of their product like corn syrup, water and sucrose, which are then, take to the factory to be combined and turned into coke. 1st coke bottles are taken to cleaning machine, which cleans, steams and sanitizes the coke bottles to get rid of any debris. Secondly coke bottles are picked up by conveyer belt to be transported to the station where coke is poured into each bottle (also known as the mixing process). Thirdly syrup is poured in first then carbonated water, coke is transported to another room full of bags of sugar and caramel coloring. Then pure water is put in the bottle by a machine, after that, refined sugar is added to the mix. Continuing on sugar water gets the Coke's secret formula mixture and some caramel coloring. Finally the machine takes bottles to another station where everything is mixed in together and then carbon dioxide is added and the bottle is ready to be labeled and packaged. After the transformation and production of coke, the bottles are then shipped of in large quantities around the world to be sold and consumed. They successfully aim their product at a wide range of people, which is a sold strength of Coca colas marketing plan. They achieve this by creating products that aim at different age groups, ethnic groups, gender lifestyle and more. For example diet coke is aimed at adults ranging from 30-50 who love the taste of coke but are conscious about their health. Continuing on another example is coke zero, which aims their product at teens who don’t want the extra calories that comes with regular coke but still want the same sweet taste so cokes sweetened these specific drinks aspartame. Lastly Coke has created side products that have a very different to regular coke like sprite, PowerAde, Aquarius and more that try to aim their product at a totally different target market to coke, which allows a wide variety of buyers in the market. However I think that coke should create a healthy drink that belongs to the health sector of drinks. I recommend this because coke fails to attract people that want to consume healthy drinks as cokes drinks are packed with sugar and caffeine. If coke achieves this they will be able to have a broader target market and more
