The Lost Bread Persuasive Speech

"Mommy!", echoes the little girl who loses the grip of her mother's hand in the newly-opened, extremely busy fun fair in town. The shrinking feeling invades her stomach, as her mouth gapes wide and her eyes start stinging with tears at the thought of being lost in a sea of strange, unknowing people. A goosebump-erupting disaster, that is, for every young'un who simply wished for an ordinary day of merrymaking with their families and friends. Although, fear not, for it does have its perks!

Oh, the sweet, sweet smell! The mouthwatering aroma of caramel popcorn wafting through the hot, summer air as she walks past the carousel rides and the laughing group of children sat on the benches nearby. Looking to her right, she sees nothing but fiery

For those who are solely looking for a remedy to heal their aching sweet tooth, their mouths would water at The Lost Bread's variety of cake shakes. The "Nut Interested” is a blast of peanut butter, banana, and brownie. For those who appreciate a quick takeout from Dunkin Donuts before the early morning school rush, The Lost Bread offers a medley of your favorites through “The Doughfee”, a cup of creamy coffee milkshake with a glazed donut piercing through its straw. For those who like to stick to the generic, yet mind-blowingly delicious waffle breakfast, they’ve got the perfect one for you as well — “The Morning Meal”, with a sweet waffle on the side, a yummy maple syrup-infused cup of creamy milkshake, and you can never go wrong with little bits of bacon here and there! Last but definitely not the least, The Lost Bread can never forget its most Instagrammable offer, behold, “The Carnival”. Try looking up the shop itself online and all you’ll see is a file of photos of this beverage from hundreds of Instagram and Twitter feeds! Its seemingly charming and playful display of our childhood in a single cup — a generous cloud of candy floss on top of a sticky perfection of caramel popcorn, drenched in a creamy cup of a butter cake-blended milkshake — proves itself very reminiscent of the good olden days with the greatest of fun fairs and festivals. A few friends and I have tried this out, and unfortunately, ours was missing the star of the show: the cotton candy. It was a seemingly saddening moment, truthfully, but it didn’t stop me from enjoying the sweet crunch of the caramel popcorn on top of the milkshake itself! It was a sweet yet bitter ride, although, I cannot blame the employees for losing stock of the exciting puff of candy, for this just proves that it’s their best-seller

Good morning/good afternoon ladies and gentlemen of the jury. Aldous Huxley, the author of the futuristic dystopian novel “Brave New World” is innocent in rightfully challenging the idea of a modern utopia. He invites the reader to challenge the ideal society as his writing is a cautionary tale and a warning to people that humanity may transform from being free independent people to slaves to our own greediness and society. “Brave New World” is a disturbing, loveless world and Huxley shows this through his writing, tapping into themes such as eugenics, behavioral conditioning, the use of advanced technology to control an entire society and showing an extreme but honest version of today’s economic standards. Huxley doesn’t mean to say that people would be happier if they were all genetically modified, nor…

Chris went into the wild hoping to get away from corrupt society and to live a transcendentalist lifestyle. His bold journey was going well until he made a silly mistake when he came across seeds from the wild potato.
