Setting: Backyard of Anil’s house
Characters: Narrator 1, Narrator 2, Anil, Mother
(Light is on. Enter Narrator 1 and Narrator 2. They go to DSL and sit on a bench. A sound of wind whistling can be heard. A backdrop of a field is shown. Sound continues until both narrators sit.)

Of course he wants to hide his feeling. (Sad tone.)
(Anil moves to DSC, shows a sad expression on his face. Friend 1 and Friend 2 look at each other before follow Anil to DSC.)
Friend 1: (Taps Anil’s back.) What happens? (Pause.) What about your sad looking face?
Friend 2: (Moves in front Anil yet not blocking the audiences.) Yeah! Did something happen?
Anil: Nothing to worry, my friends. (Try to smile.) It is just I cannot present the kites for tomorrow’s wedding.
Friend 2: Why? (with a frowning face.)
Anil: I have to help my mother doing her work. (with a sad expression.) I don’t have an ample time to make the kites. Even though I have collected some kites from the store, it is still not enough for the wedding.
Friend 1: Do not be sad, Anil. I am sure you will able to offer your kites for other weddings in the village.
Friend 2: Yes. It is true.
Anil: Okay, I understand. (Smiling to his friends.) I have to go now. My mother is waiting for her materials. (Showing his mother’s threads.)
(Anil go to CLS. Friend 1 and Friend 2 stay at DSC.)
Narrator 1: Then off Anil go, leaving his two friends who are still looking at him until Anil is gone from their sight.
