All services are free to the women who seek help. Research on crisis pregnancy center mission statements say their goal is to “reach out and offer hurting people the love of Christ. This love is demonstrated by sharing life-affirming alternatives to abortion, ministering healing and reconciliation for those who have experienced abortion, and offering eternal hope for the future in Jesus Christ” (Hussey 2013). Although crisis pregnancy centers are faith based they stand on the premise that their views are women centered. “it is important to encourage women, especially low-income women, to access the supportive services available locally through federal, state, and private agencies. Some agencies are need-specific, such as Woman, Infant, and Child (WIC), a federal program that provides nutritional support and education to low-income pregnant women” (O 'Reilly 2009). Crisis pregnancy centers also have information of charitable resources from local churches and other organizations. More research needs to be done to see what counseling topics aide into each of the specific decision made by the woman who is facing the unintended pregnancy.
