4.1 Good Technical skills
A leader needs apply managerial leadership skills when lead an organization. As we know, there are three skills which are technical skill, interpersonal skill and decision-making skill. (Lussier, R. N., & Achua, C. F., 2013)
Based on the findings that we have done before, we found that Datuk Abdul Farid Alias has an extensive technical skill in his leadership management. However, he is insufficient in interpersonal skill and decision-making skill. In other words, it is not to say that the managerial leadership skill that Datuk Abdul Farid Alias applied is not good. It just to say that he need to improve these two skills to the level of his technical skill as the top manager often use the interpersonal skill and decision-making

First, he sends the personal written email about what his opinion and important business’s topic to every employee during every Monday over past three years. This can serves the whole the company to truly connect and engage together. Besides, he also answers employees’ email within 24 hours as employees want to be heard and feel appreciated. He also will hold a town hall meeting no matter the location of offices is different or not in order to have face-to-face conversations. He can learn a new idea or having great deal about what is happening in his business which can improve the team make better decisions. (David Krantz, 2015)
Datuk Abdul Farid Alias should refer David Krantz as a model and reference to improve his interpersonal skill and learn from him. The way to improve decision-making skill will discuss in part 4.2.

He can learn new management skill or other useful skill from the people he meet; it may be useful for him to use the skill to operate the bank. He also should high energy in determination. In 8 April 2016, Datuk Farid Alias has claim that the asset quality of Malaysia will not fall back to financial crisis level, and explained about the increases of rejecting rate of loan is because of applications that exceed the debt service ratio, failure in the Central Credit Reference Information System assessment. (Tan, 2016) He should work hard, and have strong stamina in solving problem that faced and can tolerate stress well from different aspect.
Datuk Farid Alias should have high adjustment personality in the leadership skill. He have low confident during making decision, this can be seen through an interview Datuk Farid said he have a weakness that is afraid of making wrong decision, and this problem make him awake at night. (“Maybank proud of its culture,” 2016) From this interview, we can see that he should have more self-confident by trusting his own judgment, decisions and ideas that related to effectiveness and advancement of the
