An Invisible primary is the period between when a candidate announces their bid for public office and when the actual of primaries take place. Many argue that it is important in the selection presidential candidates however others argue there are other more important factors that determine the selection of a presidential candidate.
In 2015 Lincoln Chafee, Hillary Rodham Clinton, Martin O 'Malley, Bernie Sanders and Jim Webb all announced there declaration for the selection presidency for 2016 from the Democrat party and Jeb Bush, Ben Carson, Chris Christie, Ted Cruz, Carly Fiorina, Lindsey Graham, Mike Huckabee, Bobby Jindal, George Pataki, Rand Paul, Rick Perry, Marco Rubio, Rick Santorum, Donald Trump and Scott Walker from the Republican party have also done so.
