According to Fur Farms (2013), these types of animals are held captive and spend their lives in fur farms in which they are confined to cramped and filthy cages. In these farms fur farmers use the lowest and heartless killing methods. According to Stella McCartney in a newspaper interview “There’s nothing fashionable about a dead animal that has been cruelly killed just because some people think it looks cool to wear”. For example, animals are poisoned, electrocuted and skinned alive in the farms. As a result, only a class of people can afford it. So, when a person wears fur clothing, it can make them look classy and wealthy but only for these reasons to kill an animal is not right. Millions of animals are suffering every year for this trade. A majority of fur in the U.S. comes from fur farms in China. Where there are no laws set in place to protect the animals. Since there are no regulations for these farms, the suppliers can feel free to do whatever they want to the poor helpless animals. In this case, the animals arrive starving and dehydrated to the farms in tiny wire cages where they have no room to move about. Moreover, they are shipped in sacks and the cages are tossed off the trucks carelessly to the ground, as if the animals inside are garbage to be thrown away. Hence, some of them arrive dead or injured. It is high time to think again to stop this cruelty
