Jonas had settled into his new home, in the same village that he first came up to in that cold day nearly 3 years ago. On that day he had some mild frostbite, but Jonas didn't even care about the pain because the excitement about his new life in the world was too great.
Jonas was technically adopted by a family, he and Gabe were now brothers. The family let him in with open arms.
Jonas learned the sad truth about his community. It was run by a man with the name of Rick Morty. He tricked hundreds into thinking this was a good idea. He hid the community from the world for years. After Jonas had escaped and released the memories the drugs the people were on stopped working. A rebellion happened within the community. Luckily this was all in the past, Jonas can now start his new life. Sadly for others it will not be that easy. After Jonas left things got very bad, not much is known about this though. But some people are scarred for life. Jonas has been homeschooled for awhile now. He chose that option over him going to a public school. His Mother, Mary has been teaching him. Mary let Jonas in the second she saw him at the front door. But on the other hand her husband Ted did not appreciate that choice.
Ted is one to not trust people. He doesn't like too much socialization. He saved up all of his money to live in that cabin in the middle of nowhere. He hunts for food and drives about an hour to get anything he cant get out in his backyard. So when Ted saw this “intruder” in his home he was not happy. But he soon came to accept this.
Jonas’ new home in the normal world was a perfect setting for him. He didn't move into a strange new and busy town, he moved in a small house, in the calm and silent woods. He got time to learn about the world, to know what it's like, what he has been missing out on. His mom Mary had to fill him in. His old community had only taught him about things relevant to them. Mostly math, science, engineering, community rules and how things are done in the
