The Four principles of FITT are key factors in walking. The formula was designed to make sure that you are exercising correctly and improving yourself. Frequency applies to how often you exercise normally when exercising you go through a process of tearing and rebuilding muscles to improve endurance and strength but in regards to walking unless you are walking far distances or on varying terrain this might not happen. Intensity refers to the amount of time and effort you put into the exercise if you continue to walk more and with more drive to improve yourself the more results you will gain.
