As humans, we need certain practices that support our physical, emotional and mental well-being to work. For a leader to be a leader they must know what matters in the organization and what it needs. As a leader they should have to have a certain amount of confidence in themselves. It should exude from their presence. It requires a level of belief in themselves. A mindset that they can do it. With the five practices it fine tunes their leadership skills. the five Practices of Exemplary Leadership are: Model the way- is leading by example and acting in a manner that an individual would want to be treated and should be treated. I think of how I want to be treated. I’ve always believed in leading by example. Your team cannot follo0w if you do not give them an example to follow. I don’t believe do as I say not as I do. People tend to see and do what they see. A leader values their people and their individual and organizational success; and he also values ideas and implementing the ideas of each individual. They can make an organization succeed. A leader needs to know what in and what sot. What people are into. Working together with your team and finding what works well with the organization. Steve jobs used to have seminars and teams, he worked to find what was cutting edge and would take his company to the next level. He always challenged the process. Good leader’s questions and inspire their team to do better when it fails they want to know why ad make sure it doesn’t happen again. Leaders create an environment that rewards risk-taking. An environment that welcomes new ideas. Harboring and fine tuning these can motivate a team do more than expected of them Creating an environment that associates are comfortable to come to will help them succeed in the work
