The Bermuda Triangle The Conspiracy By Damon Scott II
Ever since the Columbus incident, when Columbus went to explore in 1492,his compass wasn’t working and now he started to panic because he didn’t know where he was, then his crew panicked and somehow ended up back where they were. Edward Van Winkle, claims that strange things are happening, but Larry Kusche thinks a lot different.
Edward Van Winkle claims that pirates control the Bermuda Triangle waters or Atlantis’s energy floor from the city is pulling things down, or has something to do with the 1945… 7 plane crash. Also claims that Christopher Columbus has experienced that.
“Edward Van Winkle Jones published his article in the ‘Miami Herald’ about and alleged the unusual disappearances

After that, there was no end to the discussion and books started publishing and flooding the market.” “Then the discussion moved from the print media to the video world and documentaries and films were made. The most famous work on this place was done by Lawrence David Kusche, who was a librarian and wrote a book entitled: ‘The Bermuda Triangle Mystery: Solved’. He argued that the claims of other writers are unnecessarily exaggerated, and cannot be verified.”
Larry Kusche argues that none of the events can be proven and most of the things that happen were greatly exaggerated. Also the number of planes that have sunk there have sunk from natural causes. They were not from the Bermuda triangle.
“The Bermuda Triangle mystery has a much simpler explanation: sloppy research and sensational, mystery-mongering books.” “He gave no information as to what were the laws of chance, but it sounded scientific, as if the matter had been thoroughly studied.”
What Larry is saying is that everyone who says the Bermuda triangle is the “scariest place on earth” is sadly mistaken and none of their sources and info are credible. Sources cannot prove that

He has written many books including a cookbook. He was also a flight instructor and librarian and is currently 75 years old. He was born in 1940 “Lawrence David 'Larry' Kusche is an American author and pilot. He had been a commercial pilot, flight instructor, instrument-rated pilot, instrument instructor and librarian.” “The man who solved the Bermuda Triangle “mystery” looks back after four decades on his investigations into the missing flight that started it all and the shoddy research, gullibility, and distortions that created this mystery.”
Larry is saying that the whole Bermuda triangle mystery is just poor research and delusions of people. No one has actually look this whole thing through which caused poor research. Someone just started a theory/mystery that’s probably not true.
“Basically that a lot of authors are a) lazy or b) dishonest. Some cases (two or three) seems to be entirely imaginary – simply made up. None of them are very interesting or significant though. A few of the vessels listed as missing in much Bermuda Triangle lore were actually found, safe and well, with crews intact – they were just delayed, out of radio contact, or rather prematurely reported missing in one case by a slightly over anxious

It is composed of both factual and theoretical information, which is incorporated into interviews, personal theories, and artifacts/ evidence found to be linked to the disappearance. At the beginning of the article, the author describes a telegram that the USS Cyclops was carrying in order to deliver it to the West Indian Steamship Co. in NYC. He recorded the exact telegram that was supposed to be sent—but was never delivered. This is a very interesting fact to include, it is just another task that was supposed to occur but never did. Throughout the entirety of the article there is specific evidence given to persuade the reader that there must have been structural issues going on with the Cyclops that never ended up getting fixed.…

Why would anyone debate such a discovery? The idea of finding the lands that would one day be home to one of the biggest super-powers in the world great outweighs any other achievement within realistic reasoning. The story could have gone either way, either “Columbus thinks he’s going to India, instead finds dirt inhabited by savages.” Or “Columbus makes a great discovery for his country once again!” With a prior reputation of awesomeness, it is so much easier to see this mistake as a great discovery.…

In the world of research, “a single step can take one off a cliff,” meaning one seemingly small mistake can lead to disaster. In a split second everything one is reaching for and working towards can come crashing down, leaving the researcher with no hope of ever retrieving it. Therefore, the uncertainty of the path taken while conducting scientific research is evident due to the precision and attention it requires. Barry also argues that “even the least ambiguous [scientists] deal with the unknown,” implying that there is no way you can avoid dealing with the mystery and risk that is engrained in the field, leading to the conclusion that uncertainty in science is inevitable. In addition, the passage also compares conducting scientific research is like looking “through the looking glass into a world that seems entirely different.”…

I had always been fascinated by modern mysteries and conspiracy theories, but before this class, I had no clue what to accept and how to analyze the information that I was presented to me. I chose the topic of the Moon Landing, because it enabled me to take a second look at the conspiracy theory through a new lens of experience. To understand where this idea of a hoax originates, we need to understand what was going on before the Apollo 11 moon landing. Starting in the 1950s, America was in a cold war with Soviet Russia, which was less of a physical battle and more of a challenge of who had a better structured government. It was a challenge of superiority that eventually led to the space race in 1955.…

In late August, SETI (Search for Extraterrestrial Life Institute) revealed news of a peculiar signal found 94 light years away from Earth. SETI had hoped that this would be a crucial piece of evidence that revealed the presence of extraterrestrial life. However, only a few weeks after the initial announcement, the signal was debunked to be no more than an interference from a military satellite. While many scientists were disappointed by the news, it perhaps was the most favorable outcome of the situation. A prominent physicist, Stephen Hawking, theorized that with any interaction between Earth and extraterrestrial life, “…the outcome would be much as when Christopher Columbus first landed in America, which didn 't turn out very well for the American Indians.”…
