During their discussion, they will share their personal experiences with sickle cell anemia and how it has affected their lives. Professional nurses and doctors from local hospitals will be performing a test that will detect any recessive traits the students might be carrying. The AUC will be notified about this event through Twitter, Instagram, and a Facebook event page where there will be a description and purpose of the event. Five monetary gifts will be given out to the first five students who use hash tag #STASCAwareness on their Twitter or Instagram.
