This is shown when Juliet is in distress she goes to the Nurse for help, rather than Romeo which is suppressing Romantic love, her family which is extinguishing Familial love, and/or praying about the situation which eclipses spiritual love. In the play Mercutio shows his friendship for Romeo by trying to cheer him up while saying “you are a lover, borrow Cupid's wings and soar them above common bound.”- act 1, scene 4, Romeo and Juliet. Romeos friendship for Mercutio was so strong that when Mercutio was killed by Tybalt, Romeo was filled with so much anger for the loss of his friend, that he felt the need to kill the killer; Tybalt. Even if this means that he was banished from that area and land. If he had loved Juliet as much as he did Mercutio he would have thought twice before he killed Tybalt, knowing that there would obviously be punishment for murder resulting in his death, or banishment restricting him to see or be with his “True love.” This is when the term “actions speaks louder than words” comes into
