Pat’s father also has bipolar, which makes it realistic, since bipolar is hereditary. Pat’s father is a football fanatic. He is superstitious about football, the remotes have to be a certain way and pointing a certain direction. Pat also has to be there, but he has to be mentally stable. His father also bids on the game, which is where the obsessive compulsive tendencies stem from. Tiffany ends up convincing his father that the team wins only when Pat is with her. Pat came home earlier from his high school teaching job, and went inside to find his wife. He heard their wedding song playing, so he followed the music upstairs. His wife was in the shower, but then you see it was with another man. Nikki was cheating on Pat with another high school teacher. Pat went ballistic and began physical harming the man while he was still in the shower. Nikki was standing in the shower with the other man’s blood flowing everywhere.
