Well maybe in a 1000 years, bye now. He was sent flying upstairs back to the entrance to the tomb, “I really worked 31 years just to fail to see a cheeseburger.” Carter went back into his car and sent a telegram to Lord Carnarvon. “Lord I have failed to fulfill your mission of finding the sacred Cheeseburger, i have failed you and i am sorry about that.” As he was driving home he hit another rock, his car was sent flying into a ditch. His car kept rolling until he met an underground cave. He got out of his car, and opened to door in the cave. He could not believe what he found, a mummy. It was a small wrapped mummy though, he carefully unwrapped it with care. There it was, the holy grail, the golden cheeseburger. He put it in is backpack and hit road. Hit the road jack you ain’t coming back no more no more no more Howard sang as he drove away. He was going to Carnarvon's house to deliver the sacred cheeseburger to him. A fourth emerging theme I present in this paper is my identification of what I am calling “leadership straddler’s.” I use a study by Prudence Carter (2006) that desired to challenge the findings by Fordham and Ogbu’s (1986) proposed “acting white” theory by black students in regards to educational performance in schools to inform my idea. Carter focused on how both black and Latino low-socioeconomic (SES) students navigate performance in the classroom juxtapose with peer group interaction. She identified three type of ideological perspective carried out by the youth in her study: (1) the cultural mainstreamers, the noncompliant believers, and the cultural straddlers. For the purpose of my work I focus on Carter’s identification of “cultural straddlers.”…

The Human Story written by James C. Davis is didactic because it teaches the reader about the history of the human kind, how ancient people settled down, founded cities, and formed religions. Through-out pages 1 - 126 there are changes and continuities that occur, global interactions, and I also learned many new facts and points about the evolution of humans. The Human Story is filled with facts about our history, as humans, but what interested me the most was our beginning, how we filled the Earth. Our ancestors, The Homo Erectus, some times called Upright men, evolved in Africa and then moved to Asia about 2 million years ago. Homo Erectus had flatter skulls and heavier brows than we do, the Homo Sapiens.…
