His car was parked behind a glut of trees, as Arzaylea has instructed. It was a surprise that behind all of these trees was something he would not have expected. There was a dirt road that led him past now burnt trees, a dried out river, soot, and finally the cracked ground. What has he gotten into?
The hiked has lasted at least an hour now. Due to the nothingness all around and his phone being head, he had no idea what the specific time was. The sky was growing dark at this point. People would expect it to be cold at this time of night, but for some reason it was quite humid. "Why am I still here?" Luke as questioning himself at this point, but there was no going back.
It had been three days of heat, and it was too extreme to not have water, but he was out of luck. His mouth grew dry and at some points it became even harder to breath. Sand blew into his eyes that seemed to not be able to produce any kind of tears, and it became harder to stare for too long. Though it was harder to blink, his gaze still remained on the same blurry figure in front of him. "Who are you?" Luke called out, but his voice dry, hoarse voice didn't carry that far. There was no response.
Every time Luke got closer, the figure got further away. That was until the figure began to run forward. Luke took his time to react. By the time he turned himself around to run, his long legs failed to take him any further. He fell face flat on to the ground. There was no kind of presence around him anymore.
Warm, red liquid poured from his nose. Luke was too weak to pull himself up. Everything just about gave out, and he was left roasting on the ground. The heat exposed ground began to burn his cheek and hands that were placed firmly on the ground. The pain has gotten to the point where he couldn't feel it anymore. He grew numb.
