For the task I will be focusing mainly on the Separate Amenities Act. I chose this act because it shows that during apartheid there was mothing different races could share. Not even anything as simple as public benches or even hospitals.
The Separate Amenities Act was implemented in 1953. This act legalised racial segregation. It was created so that different racial groups would have separate public facilities for example: toilets, buses and beaches.
