In a conversation that I heard over the weekend between two women who are friends; During this conversation a comment was made “ she is a professional dog sitter” and the other woman replied saying, “ Well, I know but I have to make sure” The second women who said that has hesitation in her voice due to her anxiety about going on vacation without her dogs for the first time. Two cues that were present were the word “well” as well as a hesitation/pause when she was talking.
