Introduction
After going public with their first car, the Tesla Roadster, in the United States, Tesla quickly became an internationally recognized innovative and progressive company in the green technology market (Radius World Wide). Additionally, we can see from the analysis above that business diversification, such as expanding into the e-bicycle market, is a potential opportunity for Tesla to increase their worldwide image further. However, weaknesses are also evident in Tesla’s company, as their financial liquidity seems to be unstable, leading to potentially large risks when it comes to further investments, or enlarging their business product range.

Finally, we will utilize financial tools to determine whether Tesla is financially healthy enough to finance the option of market expansion. First, we will calculate the current ratio of the company, which indicates the company’s liquidity.
