Attitude and Behavior: Family is the primary focus in Rosa Lee’s life. She takes everything one day at a time in an attempt to provide each family member with what necessities and when possible, their wants. She goes through each day by taking the path that is least overwhelming. Rosa Lee understands that she is not perfect and will never be perfect. She admits that she has bad habits but shows very little concern in the area of changing her ways. We recognize that in her world, family comes first.
Social Functioning:
Recently, friends and family have noticed the occasional memory lapses from which Rosa Lee suffers. It has become more common for her to forget what she is doing or where she is or where she is going. However, they have found that a gentle reminder is all she needs in order to continue her day. Occasionally, these two children provide assistance to their mother, possibly from a financial standpoint. The remainder of her adult children continue to rely heavily, if not completely, on their mother for food and shelter.
