In the story Romeo and Juliet both Romeo and Juliet kill themselves because of the secret marriage they have committed to. Romeo was banished because he murdered Tybalt so the marriage couldn’t bring together the couple together. Because the couple couldn’t be brought together Juliet and the friar had to foil up a plan to bring Romeo to Juliet. In the end the plan didn’t work and Romeo decided to kill himself because he thought he couldn’t live without Juliet. Act Five Scene Four Romeo states “Here’s to my love.” Afterwards he drinks the potion and dies. Just because he loved her doesn’t mean he needed to be so willing to commit suicide without her. Since Romeo killed himself Juliet lost hope and committed suicide. If Romeo thought about the implications of his secret marriage, or thought over attempting to murder Tybalt the couple wouldn't have been separated. Juliet wouldn’t of had to die if Romeo didn’t throw himself into her love life or had to play with her emotions. Both of them are young kids and if Romeo thought about his decisions, instead of being impulsive, Juliet would be alive. That is why Romeo is the reason Juliet
