Roman Mythology is similar to Ggreek mythology, most of the Romans gods and goddess were named afteras planets as we think of it., in the modern viewpoint, however tThe planet names came from rome's god and goddess names not the other way around. The main focus of this paper is the roman myths of Echo and Faunus, Echo and Juno, and the story of Ceres and Proserpina and the reason for the seasons and who the different characters are. The stories including these god and goddess are similar in the roman and greek version. Need a strong thesis statement that specifically states what your paper will be about.

Proserpine cried and she refused to eat, Legend said if you ate anything in Pluto, you could never leave. In the end Proserpine had to stay in the underworld six months out of each year and Ceres creates flowers to welcome her daughter and according to legends this is how the four seasons came be.
There are many different myths including Echo who was a magical wood nymph, Echo had the most beautiful voice. She was very musical and possessed a good and loving heart. Echo lived deep in the woods and rejected all suitors, which made her a favorite of the goddess Diana. One story includes Echo, Juno, and Jupiter when Echo was told by Jupiter to distract his wife, Juno when she was chasing him through the woods as Jupiter would always flirt with the wood nymphs. Echo didn't say no to Jupiter, but once Juno discovered what was really happening when she talked to Echo, Juno had cursed Echo making her lose most of her voice and only be able to say the last few words she

Faunus was the god of the wild, hunting. He was seen as being half human, while having the legs and horns of a goat, just like a faun; his Greek name was Pan. It is unclear as to who his parents were; his father may have been Jupiter, Bacchus, Mercury, or Apollo. The story starts with Echo who would have nothing to do with Faunus. This made Faunus so angry that he used his powers to make the shepherds go crazy, and the shepherds tore Echo to piece. Pieces of Echo were carried by the wind all over the world. Terra who was known as Earth or Mother Earth. She was an early earth goddess and it is said that Terra was born from Chaos, the great void of emptiness within the world, and with her came Eros. She gave birth to Pontus of the sea and Uranus of the sky. Had always been a fan of Echo, but could do undo what Juno and Faunus had done to her.
