The hospitality industry is one of the most important sectors in the tourism and international industry. The interrelationships between hospitality and wider travel and tourism businesses is that the hospitality sector is one of the biggest and most required service providers for the international travel and tourism industry. This then includes all the businesses which accommodate the tourist and travelers which are travelling to their destination. The main part of the experience that the tourists have is that it has lives up to their expectations this is because it should have reached the standards which the industry had set. The tourists that choose the high rated accommodations spend more time at the hotel or resort this is because they would like to use as much as the amenities that are offered, also the guests would be treated in a much more pampered stay as they are paying more. Also staying at a high rated hotel services are offered much faster, 5 stars’ hotels mainly offer a 24-hour receptionist, 24-hour maid, assistant services, room service, mini bar and safe, free Wi-Fi access, laundry service, gym, spa, personal care products and finally a business center. However, the 4 and 3 star rated hotels only offer quality amenities rather than the luxurious ones, the 2 and 1 star rated hotels only offer basic accommodation these star rated hotels are mainly used by people who often spend their time outdoors then …show more content…
For the companies it is important for them to attract customers and to make sure people live up to their star ratings. Also self catering apartments are also very popular this is because they are flexible, even though you have to cook and clean on your own, the self catering apartments are much more homely than the hotels or motels this is because they offer a kitchen, living room and even a dining area. However, renting saves a lot more money, some tourists who may pay more may hire a cleaner or butler in a villa or an average family may just cook and clean for themselves and spend their money somewhere else. Catering is a huge part of the Tourism and hospitality industry this is because it can be found in many places such as airlines, boats, city centers and hotels. Tourists usually determine what restaurant to go to by the choice of the music, the menu what kind of food is offered and also the pricing.
