Introduction In this paper I will be taking the role as a health administrator. I will list some key milestones in the past and present health care industry that has to do with changes that have be made in health care. I will then, assess why finance and technology are important in health care. I will also list some things that are associated with changes of the demographics and emergent diseases. Lastly, I will provide some major changes and challenges in health care management associated with mortality trends and an aging Baby Boom generation predicate.

Technology offers patients proper diagnoses and treatment efficiently. Patient records are a part of technology. Patient records are now done electronically, which technology allows it to be done easier and safer. “Thanks to the continuous development of technology in the medical field, countless lives have been saved and the overall quality of life continues to improve over time” (Health Care Business and Technology). “Developments in these key health financing areas will determine whether health services exist and are available for everyone and whether people can afford to use health services when they need them” (World Health …show more content…
The baby boomers are mainly responsible for this increase in the older population. In the future, the older population will become more diverse. With this will come problems with things like Medicare if there is still such a thing. “The rapid aging of the U.S. population is being driven by two realities: Americans are living longer lives than in previous decades and, given the post-World War II baby boom, there are proportionately older adults than in previous generations (Centers for Disease Control and Prevention).
Conclusion
In this paper I have be taken the role as a health administrator.
