Learned to work with a team is one of the most important aspects of life. Almost every job requires team work. With sports incorporated into a high school teaches students how to not be self-centered. Being able to trust your co-worker or friend to finish a game or project will lead to the success of students. The sport can build character, teaching there is a bigger motive more than themselves. Most sports programs are after school ends, teaching a student to learn time management. Being able to go to school learn, and head to practice after school is tough on a lot of people, not just students. Teaching a student at a young age that because your job is over doesn’t end the day’s work. Lessons are taught throughout a person’s life, being able to learn younger will leave the individual more successful. A high schools main purpose is to prepare their students to succeed in society. Lessons that are taught through sports would hinder a lot of students to succeed as a normal part of society. Sports teach self-discipline, another import aspect of life. Having some money toward college is better than nothing, and some students can receive a full scholarship to have the better education. A scholarship through sports can help with student’s debts that any person can struggle with. After receiving a degree, a student can be over whelmed with debts to improve their life. Removing the possibilities of scholarships can have a big impact on a person after college. While not everyone participates in sports, it still can give some students a chance at going further in life. Impacting one person out of a hundred is better than nothing.
