The teacher was the powerful authority in the classroom who controlled the class. The teachers did use various teaching and learning material to help clear the concepts that were taught in the class and one of the effective method was to help the students draw a concept map after the lesson was taught to help understand if their concepts are clear and also for some of the activities in the book like for e.g. understanding plants , the kids were taken on a nature walk in the campus to observe the plants and note down the characteristics and after the session the kids were asked to draw what they saw to help reiterate the concepts . Most of the sessions were enquiry based learning where the students questioned and the teacher clarified their doubts, the teachers and students shared a warm relationship. In the higher classes there was encouragement to ask question that were critical and especially in the maths class the concepts were repeated and the students were encouraged to interact so as to help them have concepts that were clear. In case of science classes it was always associated with enquiry based learning and consists not only the theoretical but also practical concepts. The classroom were learning spaces where the boards were used to put up learnings .The teachers were friendly which helped the students interact without fear and if the teacher was not able to answer the queries raised she said that she would find the solution and share it in the next class so what was seen was a mutual learning
