The story of an alcoholic, who created two young men raised under the same roof; were influenced alone by the single alcoholic father. The two young men saw the events that occurred every night, those following actions could influence their own actions in their own life either as growth to change or throwing in the towel for change. Life is rough no matter what situation a person is in. These situations either build or destroy a person, the views of changing often is seen as too difficult to occur. People have the ability to change for the better. Many people in history have been through hardship, the only difference is that those that have dealt with hardship have surpassed that event in their life and has used it for the better to help that build themselves. Malcolm X was a man who fought for civil right but had a different approach than Martin Luther King Jr., instead of using words to resolve problems he used violence. The violence was chaotic and in many people’s eyes it was only way to receive change. Malcolm had underwent many difficulties within his life; his father's death at a young age, being imprisoned for 6 years and viewing society negatively filled him with outrage. Once he understood that change need to occur he needed a way to make that goal a success so he rallied up people from his temple and more to stand and fight for their born rights which meant going forward and together receiving the civil rights as anyone else. Malcolm X eventually was killed but had equality for the African Americans. The hardships of his childhood witnessing those horrific events didn’t not stop him but gave him a lot to gain out of.
