I do not support the year-round school system. While there are good reasons for implementing this system, the reasons not to implement it out weigh the reasons to implement it. Test scores and curriculum taught in school is a very important thing for students, but so are things learned and experienced outside of school. Too much school could be a bad thing in the long run. There are many reasons why not to implement the year-round school system.

One reason why the year-round school system is not the best is because students need time outside of school and away from the school atmosphere. Outside of schools children are able to explore hands on and can be more independent. They need time with friends and family, making memories
