The side that argues against space travel says that it can be very costly and it is not worth the time and money. They also say that it could do us more harm than good, as there are many failures that cost the lives of astronauts as well as the unknown dangers that lie in space. The side that argues for space says that in order to advance the human race, space travel is a necessity. In addition, they say that it is a way to prevent the destruction of the human race because it gives us more opportunities for survival.
My research has found that the pros for space travel greatly outweighs the negatives of which are very few and can be alieved with persistence and human ingenuity. At an early age humans have always been fascinated with the mysteries of space, only in the last century have been able to explore and study the vast reaches of space. Space travel and in turn colonization has been up for great debate. One side believes that large expenses and politics make it impossible for us to make large strides in space exploration and that it is just too costly to colonize space. The others (like myself) believe that space travel is the only way for the human race to survive as natural resources will eventually run around and as the average age for humans increase there will be an over population
