This is even true in some cases where the couples raise a family in a cohabitation system, such as Kourtney Kardashian and Scott Disick whose relationship could be labeled from and outsider’s perspective as tumultuous when they appear on the reality show “Keeping Up with the Kardashians”. The information is telling, as it shows that the percentage of women in the United States who have ever cohabitated had risen in each age category ranging from 20 to 44. The age bracket of women aged 40-44 whom had ever cohabitated rose from slightly above 20% in 1987-1988 to over 40% in 1995, nearly doubling in only 8 years’ time. It is also quite interesting from the quantitative data gathered that a much larger percentage of uneducated persons’ (those not finishing the 12th grade) were likely to cohabit (59%), compared to individuals that were college graduates
