In class we discussed a great deal about getting in the zone. What the zone was like. How we got into the zone. What we could accomplish while in the zone. But probably the most important discussion was how being in the zone relates to sports and writing. Being in the zone is all about continually doing something until its natural. When you enter the zone, you are more focused on what you are doing much better than what you can normally accomplish. I remember Chaz’s example for being in the zone the best. He described the different stages of wrestling and transitioning. He has probably wrestled hundreds of rounds in his career and has experienced enough to enter the zone.
