But, being unethical is a lot easier than staying ethical. These men knew what they were doing was wrong, but being an officer that searching homes, having expensive belongings and money lying around can make it easier to steal and avert to unethical and illegal actions. As police officers, they have a role to fulfill, and that is to be an example to citizens that they enforce the law upon.
