My desired career choice is to own and operate a prestigious equine hippotherapy facility. Hippotherapy is a type of therapeutic riding used to rehabilitate humans in areas such as coordination, balance, and strength. Many hippotherapy riders are found to be disabled or mentally challenged. Through my facility, I will be able to give these clients the opportunity to find their inner balance and help them overcome their mental or physical weaknesses through riding.

From restoring the meaning of being scholastically, to organizing fundraisers for community members in need, I have made it my goal to make a difference in the lives of those around me. Through leadership I have helped students voice their opinions and find their place in the chaotic hallways of the high school by listing to their doubts and building them up. As a leader in my youth group and 4-H club I have had the opportunity to share my joy and resources with senior citizen’s, younger club members, and anyone who was involved who needed guidance. involved Looking back on my accomplishments as a leader, I notice the tools I have acquired that I will use in the future. Surprisingly, I choose someone who I have admired my whole life but did not notice until I sat and thought about this question. The one person I truly admire, is my Aunt. My aunt Kappy comes from my Dad’s side of the family and is the youngest of four siblings. Her boisterous and spunky personality compensates for her short stature and soft tone. She is someone I truly admire and look up to, not just because I can relate with her on subjects such as being the youngest in the family, but because she holds a strong confidence in who she is. Kappy stands up for what she believes in and does not allow others to push her around or step on her ideals. When cancer was determined to strip the joy from her life, she refused to let it take what was hers and fought till she had her way.
