Skin Scar Observation Report

As I have mentioned in my previous posts, I have atrophic scars – some rolling scars on my left cheek and more box scars while on my right, few box scars and more ice pick scars. I guess I’m just lucky to have them all on my face. :/
Three weeks ago, I decided to have Fraxel done. Right after the procedure, I felt that the pits were really raised to the surface but I was not sure as it could be just the effect of having a swollen face. Truly, it was. After the scabs fell off completely (on day 7), I noticed that the scars were still there. They did not look as deep anymore as they were before, though.

The downtime takes about a week. Apart from having swollen red cheeks and red pimple marks that seemed to have bled, I did not find any other risks involved except infection as they were open wounds. So the doctor gave me a topical antibiotic. I reported to work the next day with a face mask. It just looked like I was punched in the face but it was nothing serious to not be able to deal with. Using a face mask saved me from people looking, asking, and telling me my pimples seem to be bleeding which was apart from annoying, embarrassing.
Now it has been 13 days since my first subcision and I am seeing improvement day after day. Besides the red acne marks, it already looks like the scars are healing and filling significantly. Now I can already go out without having to use concealer anymore.
It could look a lot worse during the first week, but by the third and fourth week, you will begin to see some improvement. Note that I had Fraxel first which initiated the collagen synthesis before dense fibrous bands were released through subcision. I am giving it more time to heal. I do not expect to completely get rid of them but the changes these procedures have given me have made me feel confident than
