Personal Narrative: When I Got My Dog

“Mom how can I earn a dog,” I asked. “Well I have an idea but it won’t be easy,” said my mom. Uh Oh, if she said it is not going to be easy then it is NOT going to be easy.. “Okay, I am willing to do something hard. I really want a dog.” “You will have to not only not be bad but also be extra kind for a month.” Yep I was right. It's gonna be hard. “When can I start.” “Right now.”
I got my dog July 15, 2017. We had gone to the breeder 2 weeks earlier when my dog was only 8 weeks old. I fell in love with the moment I saw him. Back then he was only 1 and a half pounds and could fit in my hand. He had long ears, black and tan fur, and a little scrunched up face. I was feeling so overwhelmed with how cute and tiny he was.
Then 2 weeks after the visit we came back to get him. We had decided to name him Miles Parker Smith. My sister got to name him and she liked both of those names so she decided to use one as the middle name and one as the first name. I hated the idea that my sister got to pick the name of the dog that I picked out.
