Although my major is not an English major or yet to become a preeminent writer, I have learned to appreciate the peaceful nature of writing. Aside from performing well on my homework in other classes, writing an essay for my English class was the hardest and most intriguing experience for me. After taking two semester of English courses, it helped me to change my conception about writing and become a confident writer. Now I believe writing essay or article not only should explain your views in words but also resonate thoughts from your heart with reader. Another thing I am proud of throughout all my papers is how much more I evaluated the suggestions given to me by my peers and instructor during this class. This is an area that I had never really taken advantage of before. Without this I do not think I would have understood academic writing as well as I now do. Seeing
